The aim of this website is to provide a place where business's and individuals can advertise their companies in a electronic format available to the public 24/7 for a nominal fee.

In our current economic climate, every business needs exposure, and here on the Westcoast nobody really caters for local businesses except for print advertising and that has become expensive.

The idea came to me while we where moving home in Jacobs Bay on the Westcoast and I needed somebody to connect our gas stove and dishwasher.

Not knowing anybody and having no D.I.Y tools or inclination to attempt the project myself, I collected one of those little booklets that gets crammed into our postbox by the dozen every month and tried to find a handyman.I eventually found one and phoned the supplied number.

The person agreed to come around to us after 5pm to have a look and to give us a quote. He arrived and proceeded to offer us some solutions and started throwing prices at us and then promised to send us a quote the next day as he left.

Now we have been without a stove for 4 days already (I hate braaing) but the next morning still no quote, so we started phoning everybody that that we knew and eventually got a number from somebody, who had used a particular person before, so I phoned him.

To cut a long story short, he arrived (what a pleasant man) and proceeded to connect our stove, dishwasher and washing machine at a fraction of the price that we where quoted the previous evening.

Now if I had found a local website with a list of handymen for example, it would of made our lives much easier, since I could not find one, I have decided to create one.
